Humans simulate violence all the time without becoming nut jobs, it’s a consensual fantasy game and no more harmful than pretending to kill your friends in a game of paint ball.
For some people this kind of stuff helps them to move past trauma in their lives and become healthier, better functioning people, so if you’re really worried about people’s mental health you should respect that. What’s not healthy is the internalized self-hate and shame that people experience when they hear people like you telling them their fantasies make them insane and damaged.
